Joshua Edmond is an entrepreneur and Buda advocate. He served on the Buda EDC board from 2022 to 2024 and has spent 13 years in technology building businesses and coaching local founders.
Who is Joshua
Joshua Edmond has built his career at the intersection of technology, business development, and community service, and he has done it right here in Buda. He is not running because it is a next step. He is running because he is already in the work.
With 13 years in technology, Joshua has worked in corporate business development and as an entrepreneur since 2020. He recently founded HEART Advisory Group to serve Central Texas companies in construction, manufacturing, and logistics. He also coaches local founders on how to build something real in this community.
From 2022 to 2024, Joshua served on the Buda Economic Development Corporation board, helping guide the strategic investment decisions that shape this city's future. He is a graduate of Buda's Citizen Academy and understands how local government works from the inside.
He is a current BBA candidate at Texas Tech's Rawls College of Business and an ACC alumnus. He lives and works in Buda with deep, personal stakes in where this city goes.

Development is coming whether we plan for it or not. The question is whether Buda's small-town character survives. Joshua knows how to attract the right growth and when to say no.
Buda's local businesses are its identity. Joshua has been in the trenches with them, not as a politician at a ribbon cutting, but as a fellow founder who knows what survival and growth actually take.
Water, roads, and public services must keep pace with growth. With 2021 bond projects remaining a fiscal priority and new demands coming, Buda needs someone who can navigate complex fiscal decisions with confidence.
Data centers and AI facilities are under debate across Hays County. Buda deserves a council member who genuinely understands the tech industry, its real benefits and its real costs to water, energy, and character.
